Don’t Drool on my Laptop
Welcome to my narrative about taking the plunge into parenthood. Fatherhood more specifically. Going to share my thoughts, experiences, triumphs and failures. Going to talk about cool tech stuff and websites. Going to have fun. Going to ask the big questions. Going to hope for some good answers.
It…is…FINISHED.
Kathie and I got through the four week class for expecting parents. Our teacher at Community South Hospital was great. Very experienced and knowledgeable. I hope she’s on duty when Kath goes into labor.
All the good content for dads to be was on the last day. Holding, moving, dressing, cleaning and all the related stuff. I have to say that my confidence level is higher now that we’ve gone through the training.
I’m nervous about being able to read the baby’s cues. But I’m sure that gets easier with some time and trials.
Up next, Breastfeeding class and Expectant Fathers class.

I created an iTunes playlist to play to Fetus Wilder while he’s still in the womb. Mostly quieter songs with positive messages. Kathie looks quite humorous sporting a big belly attached to huge headphones!
Here’s another daddy blog that I enjoy reading. Great writing style. Cool stuff reviews too.
Here a great blog started by the one and only Chris Brogan for dads. There’s actually a whole team of contributors so it’s a ton of good info for dads who are tyring to do it right.
The pics are just amazing. In the lobby; there was a photo album with shots of baby in 3D next to a shot of them right after birth. Totally identical!
Here’s a video of the incredible 3D Ultrashound that Kathie and I had. It’s long. But it’s utterly amazing!
